The first time I used it (and everytime after that) after about 3 min of blending it started to smell like burning plastic like I was overusing the motor and it could possibly catch fire. Then after the second wash the handle from the spout broke off so now there's no point for that. So now I have a useless blender that I've owned for less than a week.

Whether it's breakfast smoothies before work, protein shakes after a workout, or frozen cocktails with friends on a Friday night, this convenient appliance comes in handy for everyday blending. Simple to use, just add ingredients, secure the lid, then push the button to blend. The unit's 350-watt/400-watt pulse-power motor and ice-crushing blades mix with ease, while its patented Stir Stick technology forces ingredients into the mixing blades for smooth, even results. In addition, the blender comes with a 40-ounce plastic blending jar, which features convenient measurement markings and a mess-free dispensing valve for serving thick, blended drinks right into a glass. Other highlights include a cup indentation in the base, four stabilizing feet, and a compact design. To clean, wipe the motor base down with a damp cloth and wash all parts except for the motor base in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. A user manual with recipes comes included. The smoothie maker measures approximately 8 by 9-1/2 by 13 inches and carries a one-year warranty.
