(More customer reviews)This product does what it's designed to. make ice;however, the main reason I bought it was that there is no drain required. That's true, but if you don't have a drain, this thing has to be manually drained by you, and very often. The lower pan fills up, sometimes several times per hour and when it does you get an ear piercing alarm that doesn't go off until you manually drain the lower pan. This to me defeats the purpose of having it. Not to mention you must drain the ice bin at least twice per day and sometimes more often. If you really want a ice maker I suggest you have a drain nearby for this one, otherwise try another model/brand.
