(More customer reviews)These ice cubes are a hit with the 4 year old. We have filled them up with juice and made a nice treat and later used them in her drink (2 straws is very convenient. The silicone tray is a pretty color and very flexible - she can remove the ice herself.
There are a few downsides - I dislike that the ice is all the way at the bottom of the star. A few times we have had just enough ice over that it blocks the straw (easily fixed within minutes). Additionally, while the straw seems thick and durable, if you lose it - be warned - there is a bend in the straw so that it fits into plugs on each end, so you won't be able to easily replace it.
It is a bit pricey for what it actually is - but very fun.
